Client
A custom WordPress healthcare website for London Vaccination Clinic — a CQC-regulated travel health brand operating from four central London locations: Liverpool Street, London Bridge, High Street Kensington, and Mayfair. Specialising in travel vaccinations, blood tests, health assessments, Yellow Fever certification, and corporate immunisation programmes, London Vaccination Clinic serves thousands of individual patients, businesses, and institutions every year. Their website needed to reflect clinical authority, comply with UK GDPR, and convert first-time visitors into booked appointments — with a full marketing and compliance stack behind it.

Project Goals
→ Build a custom WordPress website that reflects CQC-regulated clinical credibility and drives online appointment bookings
→ Integrate Gravity Forms for patient enquiry, consultation requests, and contact forms with reCAPTCHA security
→ Connect ActiveCampaign for patient email marketing, follow-up automation, and list management
→ Implement CookieYes for UK GDPR-compliant cookie consent management across the site
→ Embed Trustpilot review widgets to surface patient social proof and build booking confidence
→ Deploy PixelYourSite for Facebook Pixel and Google Ads conversion tracking
→ Optimise performance with Jetpack Boost and Priority Hints for fast, mobile-first load times
→ Configure Yoast SEO with local schema markup for all four London clinic locations

Problems

1. Clinical trust in a competitive healthcare market — A travel vaccination website competes against NHS services and private GP chains. Every design decision needed to communicate CQC-regulated authority and nurse-led expertise instantly — before a patient considered booking elsewhere.
2. GDPR compliance in a healthcare context — Healthcare websites handle sensitive personal data. Implementing CookieYes, reCAPTCHA, and ActiveCampaign with proper consent gating required a layered, legally sound approach that didn’t frustrate the patient booking experience.
3. Multi-location SEO and content architecture — Managing four distinct London clinic locations — each with unique opening hours, accessibility details, and local search intent — within a single cohesive WordPress structure required careful CPT design and schema planning.
4. Conversion tracking without consent conflicts — Running PixelYourSite for both Facebook Pixel and Google Ads while maintaining strict GDPR cookie consent meant tracking had to fire conditionally — accurate attribution without compromising compliance.
Solutions

1. Authority-first design system — CQC certification badge, registered nurse team profiles, and Trustpilot review widgets placed prominently above the fold — establishing clinical credibility before patients reached a single service description or pricing detail.
2. Layered GDPR consent architecture — CookieYes deployed with a healthcare-appropriate consent banner; ActiveCampaign, PixelYourSite, and reCAPTCHA all configured to activate post-consent — meeting UK ICO standards while keeping the patient journey smooth and uninterrupted.
3. Custom clinic location CPT with local schema — A bespoke Clinic Location custom post type with ACF fields for hours, maps, and contact info — plus locally scoped Yoast SEO schema markup — gave each of the four locations independent SEO presence within the same WordPress installation.
4. Conditional pixel firing via PixelYourSite — PixelYourSite configured to trigger Facebook Pixel and Google Ads events only after explicit cookie consent — delivering accurate cross-channel conversion attribution while maintaining full GDPR compliance throughout.
