MarkupMarvel is hiring a Senior Product Designer to lead UI/UX design across client projects. You’ll design for headless WordPress, Next.js, and Shopify platforms — translating business requirements into clean, conversion-focused interfaces that our development team builds pixel-perfect.

This role works closely with both developers and clients, so strong communication and a solid design system mindset matter as much as visual craft. You won’t just hand off static mockups — you’ll be involved through build and launch.

What You’ll Do

• Design responsive web interfaces for client projects across WordPress, Next.js, and Shopify
• Build and maintain a reusable design system / component library in Figma
• Present design concepts and rationale directly to US/UK clients
• Collaborate closely with developers during build to ensure design fidelity
• Design for conversion — landing pages, e-commerce flows, and lead-generation forms
• Conduct basic usability reviews and suggest improvements on existing client sites
• Contribute to MarkupMarvel’s own brand and marketing design when needed

Requirement

• 4+ years of professional UI/UX design experience, ideally for web platforms or SaaS products
• Strong portfolio demonstrating Figma-to-code handoff for real production builds
• Experience designing for conversion — landing pages, e-commerce, or B2B platforms
• Understanding of responsive design and accessibility standards
• Comfortable presenting design decisions directly to US/UK clients
• Experience building and maintaining a design system or component library
• Remote — able to collaborate across timezones with developers and clients

Nice to Have

• Experience designing specifically for headless CMS or JAMstack architectures
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS to communicate feasibility with developers
• Experience with Shopify theme design specifically
• Motion design or micro-interaction experience
